Southwoods, Barrie

JDB Associates were retained by Pratt Homes to complete the landscape design for their medium density housing development titled ‘Southwoods’ in the southern end of Barrie. This townhouse style development can be easily identified in passing by the signage features located at either entrance and the large planting beds located along the development’s streetscape. Residents of Southwoods have been provided with an amenity area equipped with a playground, basketball court, and lush green space which can also be accessed from neighboring housing. Southwoods is a great example of how JDB can help to maximize the outdoor space provided and increase the aesthetic appeal of housing development, no matter the scale.
