The Beerstore, Barrie

In 2014 JDB Associates were retained to complete the landscaping plans for the beer store remodeling on Bayfield Street in the City of Barrie. Our scope of work was to provide a planting plan for the foundation planting beds and landscape strips within the parking lot of this development. An important feature of the design is the inclusion of a rain garden, located under the plaza sign, which is used to treat storm water runoff by allowing this water to infiltrate into the ground rather than being conveyed away by traditional storm water conveyance systems.
